CEA (CARCINOEMBRYONIC ANTIGEN) 

A "tumor marker" in the blood that may indicate the presence of cancer. It may be elevated in some cancers, especially of the breast, bowel and lung. By monitoring the amount of CEA, doctors can detect the presence of these cancers and assess the progress of treatment.
